Jewelry Designer Michael M. Expands on the Theme of Celebration …

LOS ANGELES, May 30, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) –
Jewelry designer Michael M. expands upon their current bridal ads focusing on the theme of celebration, by introducing a new print creative featuring a satin ribbon called Love, intertwining. This new ad will run in top national fashion magazines including InStyle, Marie Claire, and Elle starting in June issues. Previous Michael M. ads featured a bridal bouquet with Calla Lilies and an “M” logo balloon tied with a bow.

Love, intertwining showcases a single blaze of rich aubergine ribbon twisting elegantly along the page, encircled and contrasted by white platinum and diamond rings. In the ad, Michael M. features an array of signature styles from their Amore, Europa, Strada, and Trinity collections. From a sleek princess cut center stone with pave diamonds along the shoulders, to the signature U-Setting which cradles the diamonds to showcase all sides thereby casting more light onto the stones, each ring is distinctly a Michael M. work of art.

“The Michael M. woman wants a ring that suits her personal style,” says Michael M. CEO and designer Peter Meksian. “By showcasing a variety of styles in our ads, we are hoping to continue to inspire and celebrate a love for our hand-crafted rings from the moment she sees our ads, to when she walks into her favorite jewelry store.”

Styles featured in the ad from top to bottom: R552, R490, R483B, R302, R472, and R414

The Sentimental Story Behind Camila Alves McConaughey’s …

Matthew McConaughey Wedding PhotoChristopher Polk/Getty

When it came to finding the perfect wedding gown, Camila Alves McConaughey knew exactly where to turn. Chanel? Nah. Vera Wang or Monique Lhuillier? Nope.

Instead, the bride asked Brazilian dress designer Ducarmo Castelo Branco, a 78-year-old family friend, to craft a gown for her June 9 nuptials to Matthew McConaughey.

“Ducarmo has been making wedding dresses for her entire life,” says Alves, who has known the designer since she was a young girl growing up in Brazil. “I guess you can say she has been planning this design for over 20 years.”

Branco worked on the project with a group of eight local women, and Alves’s faith in that team’s vision of a dream dress — a delicate beaded lace gown — never wavered. “I went to Brazil for a day and a half to work on the dress,” the bride tells PEOPLE. “I left and I just had to trust them. They finished the dress 22 days later.”

Matthew McConaughey Marries Camila Alves in High-End Wedding …

The couple’s family and friends were facilitated with their private and luxurious tents set up on the back garden to stay over the weekend.

Matthew McConaughey has made it official with the mother of his two children. The “Magic Mike” star married model Camila Alves in a private ceremony at the actor’s property in Austin, Texas on Saturday, June 9 night before family and friends.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the wedding’s theme is “island beach meets Texas” with yellow and orange colors. Guests were served with Brazilian food such as chicken wrapped in bacon and pork sausages with cheese bread from steakhouse Estancia Churrascaria.

The guests arrived on Friday night to have a pre-wedding slumber party. The couple has set up a dozen of cozy tents on the backyard, providing each of them with air-conditioning unit, patio and doormat. A giant tent was erected in the middle and long tables that could accommodate 10 to 20 people were placed around for dining.

“There were about 100 of [Matthew's] close friends and family there,” a wedding guest told Us Weekly. “[The ceremony] was very emotional. There was a moment when …[Matthew] leaned down and whispered something in [Camila's] ear and you could see a tear coming down her face. Everyone let out a collective sigh.”

A rep of McConaughey told People that Alves will pick up her husband’s last name.
